Most of this Journal is written for crews who bring their own team to Istanbul. This guide is for brands and agencies who want the film produced end to end, with one partner responsible for the creative, the shoot and the delivery.
Choose the model first
In full production we take the brief, develop the treatment with our own team or with the director you bring, and deliver the finished film. In production service your agency or director leads creatively and we run everything on the ground. Deciding this at the start sets the budget, the approval chain and who owns each decision.
The brief that gets the fastest answer
Tell us where the film will live and what has to come out of the shoot: the hero film, cutdowns, vertical versions for social, stills. Add usage (territories and duration), the shoot window and a budget range. Our free Producer Toolkit includes a project brief template that covers all of this.
Casting and styling
Istanbul has a working fashion and advertising industry, so models, actors, extras, stylists, hair and make-up are cast and booked locally to your brief. We share options early and keep approvals in one thread, so creative decisions don’t hold up the schedule.
From brief to delivery
Treatment and estimate, then pre-production: casting, locations, permissions, schedule and call sheets. Shoot days follow, then post-production — edit, grade, sound and every version on the deliverables list, cut to your technical specs. Timelines depend on scope; we give you a dated plan with the estimate.

Commercials such as Butex Nutrifactor and Roqqu x Victor Osimhen, and fashion films for AVVA x Murat Boz, Berr-in and Aisa, were fully produced by LSS Film in Istanbul. You can watch them on the Work page.
